Steven Edalgo is the brains behind a creative inquiry project that is introducing undergraduate students to mathematics education research. This will be his first time teaching a course like this; an immersive, hands on experience for students to truly understand math from an education research perspective.
The focus of this research stemmed from the issues and barriers some of our team members encountered in teaching a virtual qualitative research methods course for undergraduate students. To meet the needs of the students, our team constructed a new system for data analysis using the Google G-Suite. With this method of data analysis, all the work is done through the Google G-Suite which is not only accessible for students, but free for them as well (Courtesy of Luther Duncan).
