Transfer Students

Researching transfer students includes understanding how the transfer students perceive their transitional experiences in Calculus 2 at a large land grant, high research institution. Through qualitative and quantitative research, Steven Edalgo is working to understand not only the transition from Calculus 1 to Calculus 2 but also the individual experiences that transfer students have through this transition. He has combined Tinto’s Model and Schlossberg’s Theory to create his own framework to use in his studies.
